[Review]Akkeshi Single Malt Japanese Whisky Hakuro

Aged for more than 3 years in Hokkaido oak barrels, etc., with some of the original barley made from barley produced in Hokkaido. The aroma is characterized by a slightly smoky peat aroma that is different from the peatiness of previous Atsukishi wines. The oriental aroma peculiar to Mizunara oak is gradually coming to the surface.

Hokkaido's alcoholic beverages and food are now attracting attention from all over the world. The "Delicious Hokkaido Sake and Food Marché," which attracted 50,000 visitors in three days last year, will be held for three days from June 30 to July 2 at Sapporo Odori Park 8-chome Special Site.

[Review] Akkeshi Blended Whisky Shoman

The key malt is all Hokkaido Quercus crispula. The cask composition is a diverse blend of bourbon, sherry, wine, quercus crispus, and rum. The fruity top, oriental aroma like incense, and smoky aroma follow each other, and the round mouthfeel like honey, citrus, herbs, and tidal flavors are typical of Akkeshi.

This is the 11th in the Akkeshi Whisky "Twenty-Four solar terms Series." The complex and deep flavor is created by the emphasis on the sweetness of tropical fruits, maple, and honey, and the peat unique to Akkeshi, such as charcoal, grilled sausage, bacon, and white pepper.
