The Akkeshi Distillery is a single malt Japanese whisky made from bourbon and sherry casks, with red wine casks used as an accent, while maintaining the peatiness typical of Akkeshi whisky.
The main age of maturation is 3-4 years. The finishing of Hokkaido Mizunara oak barrels gives it a pleasant sweetness reminiscent of characteristic red-fleshed melons.
