[Visit Report] Sakurao Distillery (Sakurao B&D)
The Sakurao Distillery started operations in 2017. Since the first year, in addition to whisky production, the craft gin "Sakurao Gin" has been popular. The whisky is aged in two locations, one in the Sakurao Distillery and the other in the Togouchi Tunnel. The distillery produces two brands with different tastes, "Sakurao" and "Togouchi", and will start producing grain whisky in 2019. The distillery is one of the distilleries that should not be overlooked for its future expansion into the global market.
