The Institute of Whisky Culture Inc. will hold its first Commemorative "Connoisseur Club Inaugural Event" on Sunday 15 October 2023 to celebrate the launch of a new membership organization, the "Whisky Connoisseur Club (WCC)". Participation is limited to the first 300 people who have a Whisky Expert (WE), Professional (WP), Lecturer (WL) or other Connoisseur qualification only.

Japanese Whiskey Stories Fukuoka 2023" will be held on Sunday, October 8, 2023. There are about 20 whiskey distilleries. In addition, open seminars will be held by "Miyake Seisakusho" (distiller manufacturing) and "Ariake Sangyo" (barrel manufacturing).

Distillery Water Dragon, a distillery operated by Whiskey & Co., headquartered in Shibuya-ku, Tokyo, held its grand opening for the general public on August 31, 2023. The distillery's bar "Water Gate" also opened on the same day.

This year marks the 100th anniversary of the birth of Japanese whiskey. The event will be concluded at the Tokyo venue of the Whisky Festival! The "Tasting Seminar" is back after a four-year absence, and there will be plenty of other events!
