Many companies are suffering from a shortage of whiskey barrels because they cannot keep up with the increased demand for whiskey barrels, which are made by hand. In order to break out of this situation, Shimada Lumber, Wakatsuru Brewery, and Sato Ironworks developed the "Barrel Roll," a machine that automatically scrapes the surface of whiskey barrels. [Review] YAMAZAKURA Single Malt Asaka IPA CASK FINISH

The latest release from Asaka Distillery, IPA CASK FINISH, is a bourbon barrel first fill, non-pitched sake that was aged in Barrel Aged Imperial IPA barrels at HOPJAPAN, a brewery in Miyakoji-machi, Fukushima Prefecture. It has a complex taste with a freshness characteristic of hops, moderate bitterness and acidity, and a sweetness derived from Asaka. Non-chill filtered and naturally colored.
