Special whiskey offered at Moegi no Mura located in Hokuto City, Yamanashi Prefecture. This time it is their latest creation, “FIRST CLASS”. The whisky was blended by Suntory Chief Blender Shinji Fukuyo, using the excellent original sake from the Hakushu Distillery.
1. What is Moegi no Mura?
The history of Moegi no Mura (Moegi Village), which began with the opening of the coffee shop ROCK in 1971 on the Kiyosato Plateau at an altitude of approximately 1,200 meters in Hokuto City, Yamanashi Prefecture, has culminated over the past half century in a tourist complex with a restaurant, hotel, brewery, cafe, carousel, music box museum, various craft stores, and workshops. The area has become a tourist complex.
Please stop by the popular spots representing Kiyosato, such as the “Mokimura ROCK” restaurant and the “Hall of Halls” music box museum, while listening to the rhymes of nature from one of the largest natural gardens in Japan and feeling the breath of wild birds and small animals playing in the gaps between the stone walls.
