Akkeshi Blended Whisky Shosetsu, the 13th in the Akkeshi Twenty-Four solar terms series, was released on November 27 by Kenten Jitsugyo for 13,200 yen (tax included). It has a soft sweetness characteristic of Akkeshi Blended, and a spicy yet oriental, somewhat Japanese ingredient taste from the key malt, Mizunara oak barrel maturation.
New Release [Late November 2023 release] Akkeshi Blended Whisky Shosetsu (Kenten Jitsugyo, Akkeshi Distillery)
Akkeshi Blended Whisky Shosetsu will be released in late November 2023 by Kenten Jitsugyo and Akkeshi Distillery for 13,200 yen (tax included). The aroma is of Potapota-yaki, hot omelet with soy sauce drizzled on it, smoke, citrus-like acidity, and sweetness. The aftertaste is of poivre rosé, orange sauce, and salted lemon.
News “Yamazaki Aged 25 Years” and “Hibiki 30 Years Old” won at the International Spirits Challenge 2023. Other GOLD and above award-winning products are also introduced.

Aged for more than 3 years in Hokkaido oak barrels, etc., with some of the original barley made from barley produced in Hokkaido. The aroma is characterized by a slightly smoky peat aroma that is different from the peatiness of previous Atsukishi wines.
