[Review] SABUROUMARU GYOKUTO Edition 2021

Sabromaru Distillery is the only distillery in Hokuriku established in 1952. The key malt is Saburoumaru Distillery malt, and the blend is made by examining raw spirits from a wide range of ages and blending them so that the average age is more than 10 years. It is characterized by a multi-layered flavor that is woven with Scotch grain and sherry malt aged in roasting barrels manufactured in the woodworking town of Inami.

The whiskey making process began in mid-January 2018. Chugoku Brewery was founded in October 1918, so SAKURAO DISTILLERY was established to celebrate the 100th anniversary of the company's founding. Three years have passed since its establishment, and the long-awaited release of Hiroshima's first single malt is now underway.
