Detailed information about Nikka Days has not yet been disclosed. Of course, there are no details on the Nikka website either. There are whispers that it may be purely Japanese, but I think only the manufacturer knows the true meaning.
However, there is no doubt that “peated malt from Yoichi” and “grain from Miyagikyo” are used.

3. Product name

Nikka Days

4. Characteristics

A blend of grain malt from Miyagikyo and peated malt malt from Yoichi.

Nikka Days is a subtle blend of malt and grain whisky. Smooth, fruity, and sweet, this whisky entices connoisseurs with notes of white flowers, pears, and citrus fruits. The nose is a combination of grains, toffee, malt, roasted nuts and vanilla. The finish is a perfect balance of fruit and the malty side of Nikka Daze. It is a whisky that can be enjoyed both straight and in cocktails.

7. Summary

It is so rich that it is hard to believe that the alcohol content is 40 degrees Celsius. Anyway, it is sweet without any peculiarity. Perhaps it’s because I know it’s sold in France, but it’s somehow elegantly sweet, smells like baked goods and caramel, and has just the right amount of sweetness with little alcohol.
This is a whisky that should be enjoyed on the rocks or straight up to enjoy the aroma.
It is a very rare whisky and there are not many bars that carry it.
Please try it at BAR Shinkai.

It is a very rare whisky and there are few bars that carry it.
