[Review] Pure malt whisky Yamazakura 18 years old

Pure malt whisky is finished with bandai mountain-based underground water by blending carefully selected 19-year aged unsaid sake with 18-year aged unsaid sake aged for 3 years in sherry barrels in an exquisite ratio. Non-chill filter (uncooled filtration) and natural color (no coloring). As expected, it is one that is balanced with a complex taste that can be said to be 18 years old.

[Review] Pure Malt Whisky Yamazakura Port Wine Cask Finish

A rare whiskey sold exclusively by Isetan Mitsukoshi in 2019. It has a sweet aroma unique to port wine and the strength of tannins. Incidentally, the port wine is from Portugal, which is characterized by its mild tannins. This is one of the richly varied lineup of whiskeys produced by Sasanogawa Shuzo, one of the leading local whiskey producers in Tohoku.
