Sabromaru Distillery is the only distillery in Hokuriku established in 1952. The key malt is Saburoumaru Distillery malt, and the blend is made by examining raw spirits from a wide range of ages and blending them so that the average age is more than 10 years. It is characterized by a multi-layered flavor that is woven with Scotch grain and sherry malt aged in roasting barrels manufactured in the woodworking town of Inami.

The nose is fresh and slightly spicy. On the palate it is mild, buttery, bitter chocolate, sweet and elegant. This is a very easy drinking whisky, with a calm sweetness that comes out gently in the middle and latter part of the bottle.

This is a blended malt whisky.
