Lottery applications for the festival's limited edition original bottles for Whisky Festival 2023 in TOKYO are now open, from November 1 to 14, 2023. The casks were selected by Mamoru Tsuchiya, president of the Whisky Culture Institute, and bottled in cask strength single cask. Lottery sales limited to "Whisky Festival 2023 in Tokyo" ticket holders.

SAKURAO B&D plans to open “SAKURAO YOSHIWA WHISKY PARK (tentative name)”, a theme park with a whisky distillery attached

SAKURAO B&D announced plans to open "SAKURAO YOSHIWA WHISKY PARK (tentative name)", a theme park with a scenic whisky distillery. "SAKURAO YOSHIWA WHISKY PARK (tentative name)", a new whisky distillery, will be established on the grounds of the "Enchanted Village" in Yoshiwa, located in the mountains of Hatsukaichi City, Hiroshima Prefecture. The total investment will be several billion yen. Construction is scheduled to be completed in the fall of 2025.

The Institute of Whisky Culture Inc. will hold its first Commemorative "Connoisseur Club Inaugural Event" on Sunday 15 October 2023 to celebrate the launch of a new membership organization, the "Whisky Connoisseur Club (WCC)". Participation is limited to the first 300 people who have a Whisky Expert (WE), Professional (WP), Lecturer (WL) or other Connoisseur qualification only.
