Japanese Whiskey “Fuji” to expand overseas sales.

Kirin Brewery will more than triple the number of countries in which it sells Japanese whiskey, which is growing in popularity around the world. Kirin Brewery announced a partnership with Pernod Ricard, a world-class French wine maker. Fuji, a high-priced whiskey currently exported to five countries including the U.S., will be expanded to 18 countries through Pernod Ricard.

【6/18 Completed】 Komoro Distillery in Nagano Prefecture finally begins distilling.

On June 18 (Sunday), three years after the press conference was announced in December 2020, Karuizawa Distillers held a ceremony to mark the completion of the Komoro Distillery and the start of distillation. The company welcomed Mr. Ian Chang, former master blender of "KAVALAN" in Taiwan, who was a big topic at the press conference, and showed sufficient spirit from his comments at the press conference such as "I want to produce the world's best whiskey in Komoro" and "I want to make Komoro my second hometown".
