A single malt whiskey finished in barrels that have been laid down with India Pale Ale (IPA), a medium-dark beer brewed with plenty of hops at Minami Shinshu Beer Komagatake Brewery. Refreshing citrus and herbal aroma, clear sweetness reminiscent of grapefruit and orange, and a crisp bitter finish.

A complex and balanced single malt whisky intertwined with the sweetness unique to bourbon barrels and the sweetness of ripe fruits, and a firm peat feeling.

Refreshing hops and aftertasto, the flavor is like beer. Finish in an empty barrel of Minami Shinshu Beer IPA.

"Single Malt Komagatake Limited Edition 2020" was released on September 16, 2020 with a limited edition of 15,000 bottles from Marus Shinshu Distillery of Honbo Shuzo. Vating malts aged in sherry and American white oak barrels. A mild sweet aroma with ripe plum scents and refined honey and vanilla.

Released on September 23, 2020. Mars Shinshu Distillery 35th Anniversary Memorial Whiskey. Malt whisky aged for more than 8 years distilled in the first pot still of Mars Shinshu Distillery is blended with domestic grain whiskey that has also been aged for more than 8 years. The refreshing aroma and taste reminiscent of the forest at the foot of the Central Alps surrounding the distillery.

Released in September 2019. "Komagatake Limited Edition 2019" is a limited quantity (11,497 bottles) single malt whisky made from malt ungain sake aged in bourbon barrels and American white oak barrels in the beautiful natural environment of Shinshu.
