CLAUDE WHISKY has released a private bottle of Gaia Flow Shizuoka. A fruity and spicy bony one.

Shizuoka Distillery's first blended whisky is on sale. A blend of domestic non-pete original sake, British malt raw sake, and British grain raw sake.

Shizuoka Distillery uses two first distilleries, K and W, to produce undisseled sake with two different personalities. "Contact S" is the first single malt that blends both unsorted sake. The steam-heated K has a fruity aroma and light taste, and the W by direct fire makes you feel a heavy taste and a long aftertaste.

W is the nickname for the one and only wood-fired direct-fired distiller. There are only a few open-flame distillers in the world, and the only one of its kind in the world is the wood-fueled distiller. Local woodcutters carefully chop the thinned coniferous trees from the rich mountain life of Shizuoka into firewood one by one.

Released on December 19, 2020 from Gaia Flow Shizuoka Distillery. More than 50% Japanese barley malt is used.
