After the Kanosuke distillery obtained a license to produce whisky, the Hioki Distillery, which was originally a shochu distillery, also obtained a license to produce whisky in 2020. This year's release is the 2023 edition of "Pot Still K Pure Japanese Barley First Edition," which was released in June 2022 in 500ml bottles.
